In 2014, up to 5 scientific and up to 3 educational fellowships will be offered to support young European neurologists to carry out research projects in clinical and basic neurology. The objective is to support young and active neurologists wishing to expand their knowledge in neurology by working on scientific projects, and most of all, to study the practice of neurology in different countries, and thereby also creating new and international connections.

Through the support of the EFNS Scientific Fellowship I had the opportunity to work between June 2011 and May 2012 in Lille, France joining the Stroke group chaired by Prof. Didier Leys. During the fellowship my research focused on the occurrence of seizures after an intracerebral haemorrhage.
