Norwegian team takes on rest of world in exciting battle of the brains!
The BrainChallenge took place today at EAN 2019, for the second time following the success of its introduction in Lisbon at last year’s congress. It proved to be even more popular the second-time round, and every bit as much fun. The tension and excitement could be felt in the room as the local team from Norway had to face a formidable international team made up of delegates from several countries.

Due to unforeseen developments, the 11th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology has been relocated and will now be held in Helsinki on June 21-24, 2025.

Scientific Committee Snap Shot – Dafin Fior Muresanu
June 3, 2019The Scientific Committee is fully committed to a great mission: To increase and share the best clinical knowledge and the cutting-edge information from translational research in all neurological fields. Main actions are i) to facilitate exchanges and synergies with the Scientific Panels ii) to support the Guideline Production Group (update and diffusion of expertise and best clinical practice), iii) to interact positively with other scientific societies with reciprocal exchanges and liaise with the European Affairs sub-Committee to increase the awareness of Neurology in Europe. -
Since 2018, EAN gives 60 neurologists in training the chance to increase their knowledge of clinical neurology. The basic idea is to illustrate and showcase how experienced neurologists and sub-specialists approach specific clinical presentations, including an update on relevant diagnostic and treatment approaches for key conditions in the relevant areas.
