In this paper, the authors report three patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 who developed generalised myoclonus. Two men and one woman (aged 63 to 88) presented with mild hypersomnia and generalised myoclonus following onset of the so-called “inflammatory” phase of COVID-19 infection.

May 28, 2020This interesting session covering the updates on acute stroke treatments started with a lecture by Dr Sandset from Norway. She discussed the last evidence for on- and off-label treatment in intravenous thrombolysis, and started her lecture reminding that all evidence indicate that time is critical in the treatment of stroke. First, the results of the recent WAKE UP trial have been discussed, in which it was demonstrated that the treatment with intravenous alteplase was associated with a favorable outcome in patients with stroke with an unknown time of onset in the presence of MRI features suggesting recent cerebral infarction. -
