A regional teaching course organised by the European Academy of Neurology and the Medical School of the University of Cyprus took place in Nicosia, Cyprus on 11-13 March, 2022.
During my nine-month research fellowship granted by the European Academy of Neurology I have had the opportunity to carry out my research project at Newcastle University (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK) and the affiliated NHS movement disorders clinic.
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we can now announce the first Mentees who have enrolled in our EAN Mentorship Programme to be matched with a Mentor to support them over the course of one year.
The next EAN Autumn School will take in place in Loutraki, Greece, from October 7-11, 2021.

Combining an academic career with the clinical work is one of the many challenges faced nowadays by neurology resident and neurologist at the beginning of their career. As the number of clinician/scientists grows, the opportunities and potential paths one can choose is also growing exponentially.
Due to the health situation all over Europe, EAN had to cancel the in-person Spring School 2020, but thanks to a very enthusiastic faculty, we were able to hold this course almost with the entire programme as a virtual school.
As a Christmas Special to EAN’s Resident and Research Fellow Section (RRFS) members, we are hosting our first series of Virtual Master Classes in the course of December 2020 for free.
