Clinical Fellowship winners 2020
January 8, 2020The objective of the “Clinical Fellowship Programme” is to provide a well-defined clinical observational experience in a department with recognised expertise in a specific field. With this programme, neurologists that are still in the process of training, or recently qualified and setting up a new service/practice can learn from observing the usual practice in that department, including any or all of clinical practice, service structures or specific techniques conducted in the Hosting Department for a duration of 6 weeks. -

EAN Spring School – Application Deadline is 31 January 2020
January 1, 2020Dedicated to 120 clinical neurologists in training who did not yet complete their residency/ clinical speciality training who wish to boost their knowledge and to get the chance to enable personal contacts among participants and faculty members. ERN-RND provides educational webinars on rare neurological and neuromuscular diseases - in collaboration with the European Reference Network for Rare Neuromuscular Diseases (EURO-NMD) and the European Academy of Neurology (EAN).

Exposed to a distinctive landscape of mountains and sea and hidden by the “Mediterranean Maquis”, the EAN Autumn School took place in Loutraki, Greece from 17 to 20 October.

Following the big success of last year’s 1st Autumn School, EAN again welcomed 61 participants from 22 countries - Albania, Armenia, Austria, Denmark, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Luxembourg, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. Loutraki, formerly known for its’ natural thermal springs, is close to Corinth and the archaeological site and village of ancient Corinth, about 80 kilometres west of Athens.

The 13th Baltic Sea Summer School on Epilepsy (BSSSE 13) took place for the second time in Rostock, Germany, from August 18 to 24, 2019. Participants were pleased to improve their knowledge in several areas of epilepsy in this beautiful Baltic Sea city, that harbors one of the oldest universities in Germany, for a full week.
