Migraine—with and without aura—is one of the most common neurological disorders, affecting millions worldwide. In the past few years, several new studies have been finished and we have got a better insight into the pathophysiology of migraine.

The mentorship workshop held during the annual EAN congress on Sunday 26 June was a great success. It was chaired by EAN Mentorship Task force members Francesca Morgante and Matthieu Perrenoud.

This joint Special Session between EAN and the World Federation of Neurology (WFN) was a follow-up of the European Brain Health Summit, which took place on 31 May, 2022.

This very interesting Topical Symposium provided a comprehensive summary of myasthenia gravis, including the clinical presentation, diagnostics, and well-established treatment approaches.

Plenary Symposium 3 at EAN 2022 took place in the Main Auditorium and bore the title 'Improving lives and reducing burden: what evidence do we need to implement?'

During EAN 2022, EAN President-Elect, Prof. Paul Boon took the opportunity to talk to Baroness Susan Greenfield, who delivered the Opening Lecture during the EAN 2022 Opening Session on Saturday evening.

A special session devoted to the achievements of the central protagonists of the Viennese School of Medicine took place on 27 June, 2022, at the EAN Annual Congress in Vienna.
