Abstract submission and registration are NOW OPEN for the 11th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology!

Regular EAN Masterclass participant Elena Bondareva gives her account of the format, calling it "an excellent platform for neurologists to deepen their expertise in a collaborative and engaging atmosphere".

Due to unforeseen developments, the 11th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology has been relocated and will now be held in Helsinki on June 21-24, 2025.

At the recent EAN Congress in Helsinki, the first Meeting of the Guideline Taskforce Chairs took place, providing an opportunity to exchange updates and information on various guideline-related issues.

Our special session on guidelines is held every year at the EAN Congress, to present the latest guidelines produced by the EAN, as well as recent developments in guideline production.

This year's EAN Guidelines Workshop, held one day before the EAN Congress in Helsinki, welcomed an enthusiastic group of participants, eager to learn about the guideline development process.

The European Academy of Neurology is pleased to announce that our Assembly of Delegates elected several new EAN Board members at the EAN Congress 2024 in Helsinki.

Prof. Elena Moro officially took on the presidency of Europe’s largest neurology society on Tuesday, 2 July, 2024, the final day of the 10th Annual Congress of the European Academy of Neurology in Helsinki, Finland.

The first 20 participants of the EAN Leadership Programme reached the halfway point of the programme in Helsinki at EAN 2024.

The 10th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology provided a vibrant and dynamic platform for members of the Resident and Research Fellow Section (RRFS) to engage, learn, and network in Helsinki.

On the last day of EAN 2024, held in Helsinki, Finland, EAN Past President Prof. Paul Boon chaired the Highlights and Breaking News session together with EAN Programme Committee Chair Prof. Ulf Kallweit and EAN President-Elect Prof. Elena Moro.

The symposium, chaired by Prof. Giovanni Frisoni, illustrated the European Brain Health Strategy and the ongoing programs for secondary prevention in the field of cognitive impairment and dementia.
