The EAYNT would like to present an update on our scientific activities organised in the interest of young neurologists during the Joint Congress of European Neurology in Istanbul, Turkey 2014.
During the Congress, we will be present at the EAYNT booth (D15 – together with EFNS / ENS / eBrain / Neuropenews / UEMS) . Please feel free to visit us at the exhibitiona area!
The young neurologists are invited to take part in our Photo Contest: ‚Envisioning the invisible’ by capturing a specific moment, an unique experience during the congress and by uploading to our Facebook profile. Deadline: June 15
EAYNT hospital visit: Our traditional hospital visit will be possible thanks to the kind invitation from congress president Professor Aksel Siva and the Turkish Neurological Society. The young neurologists are invited to joint us to the Department of Neurology in Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine followed by a traditional get-together event. The visit will take place on 1st June, the meeting point will be in front of the registration booth at 6.20 (search for EAYNT logo). Online pre-registration (www.eaynt.org) is necessary. The number of participants is limited, early registration is recommended.

EAYNT Special Session: Controversies in neurological training – Üsküdar Hall 3

The EAYNT Special Session’s aim is to provide a better insight into the general features and problems concerning the career development of a young neurologist. Experienced speakers will apporach from different viewpoints (clinician, researcher and a young neurologist) how to conduct a succesful professional career. The participants could attain a deeper knowledge in regard the recommended (the „does”) and the avoidable (the „do nots”) tasks to create positive working conditions, to fulfil the rights and duties, to obtain intellectual freedom.

EAYNT Travel Grant: The European Association of Young Neurologists and Trainees (EAYNT) is happy to announce two Travel Grants (200 EUR/grant) to support young neurologists who intend to actively participate at a neurology congress or summer/winter school during the year 2014. EAYNT Bursary for the 6th European Board Examination in Neurology: Financial assistance is available to assist with reimbursement of entry fees for the 6th European Board Examination in Neurology which will take place on May 30, 2014 during the Joint Congress of the ENS and EFNS (EAN) in Istanbul, Turkey.
Up to 10 grants are available (each 300 eur) to support the young neurologists.
