Elections to the first Board of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) are to be held on Tuesday June 3rd at its first General Assembly. Elections will be held under the supervision of the Election Organising Committee appointed by the Transition Task Force of the EFNS and ENS who were charged by the EFNS and ENS to oversee the process of forming the EAN.
We hereby call for applications for the following Board positions:
– President
– Vice President
– Secretary General
– Treasurer
– Chairperson Scientific Committee
– Chairperson Liaison Committee
– Member at Large
Applicants may either apply to be President or to be for any two of the other posts. Applications must be accompanied by three signed nomination forms. Nominations may only be made by the official EAN Delegates (institutional/ national delegates and individual delegates). The desired attributes of the post holders are listed here.
Application forms must be filled in online. Signed scanned copies of three nomination forms must be submitted to headoffice@eaneurology.org to arrive by 24:00 hours Central European time on 14 February 2014. All applications will be checked for completeness and eligibility by the Election Organising Committee and only properly completed application forms with three correctly completed nomination forms will be considered by the General Assembly.
