We are immensely proud to announce that the 10th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology, held at the Messukeskus, Helsinki, in 2024, has been named Best Corporate Event Subject to a Fee at the 2024 Evento Awards, a Finnish event industry award that recognises the best events, venues, speakers, creators and companies in Finland.
The award website had this to say about our 10th anniversary congress:
“The European Academy of Neurology brought its 10th anniversary congress to Helsinki in the summer of 2024. The event broke the boundaries of traditional medical congresses with a spectacular opening ceremony, surprising experts and the addition of playful competitions familiar from TV formats to the programme. The number of 9,000 participants was a record for the congress, and 7,092 of them took part onsite in Helsinki. All monitored indicators exceeded their expected estimates. According to the organisers, the congress brought 15 million euros in income to Helsinki.”
Florian Wild, Congress Operations Manager from the EAN Head Office in Vienna, attended the award ceremony in Helsinki on 10 April, to collect the prize on behalf of the EAN (pictured below).

Attendees now have a chance to experience a repeat of this award-winning event, as the 11th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology is taking place in the same venue! Find out more about the EAN Congress 2025 here or just register right away!
