A Special Issue in the European Journal of Neurology
As part of the EU-funded EBRAINS 2.0 project, we are excited to announce a special issue in the European Journal of Neurology, inviting researchers to contribute original studies that explore the intersection of neuroscience, digital innovation, and its clinical applications. This special issue on Digital Health Research in Clinical Neurosciences is a key component of the EAN’s contribution to WP2, which focuses on linking multi-scale human datasets and connectomes to atlases and models to drive progress in brain science and neurological health.
In addition to this open call, approximately 20 papers will also be commissioned as part of the initiative, ensuring a broad and impactful collection of research. The special issue will not only highlight technological advancements in neurology but also address ethical and educational challenges in digital health research.
Topics of Interest
We invite submissions covering (but not limited to) the following areas:
- Connectomics and Brain Network Mapping
- Computational Models for Brain Function and Dysfunction
- Digital Twins in Neurology
- AI and Machine Learning in Neurological Modelling
- Machine Learning for Analyzing Neurological Data
- Integrating Digital Models for Improved Diagnostic Accuracy
- Clinical Applications of Digital Neurological Modelling
