This year has been an incredibly exciting one for eanCampus as we’ve made a lot of progress in offering more and more ways to enhance your neurology education. One of the biggest updates has been the launch of 9 new Clinical Skills modules. These modules take you through the neurological examination step by step, helping you learn exactly what to do and how to do it. Expert neurologists lead each lesson, so learners can ask questions and avoid common mistakes. It’s a great chance to improve clinical skills and become more confident when performing neurological exams.
But there’s even more! We’ve also introduced a new set of Basic Courses, designed to give learners a solid foundation in the key EAN Scientific Topics. The first course, Basic Course on Epilepsy, is already available to EAN Individual and Associate Members. This course covers the foundational knowledge needed to understand epilepsy, including epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. And that’s just the start! In 2025, we’ll be rolling out more Basic Courses on critical topics like stroke, movement disorders, and multiple sclerosis, so learners can get a comprehensive overview of neurology.
We’ve also hit a huge milestone with eanCast: Weekly Neurology, which reached 100 episodes this year! This podcast is an amazing resource for anyone wanting to stay up to date on the latest trends, research, and clinical practices in neurology. With a variety of topics in bite-sized episodes, it’s perfect for busy professionals who want to expand their knowledge while on the move.
Additionally, we have developed several new Interactive Cases throughout the year. These cases allow learners to practice their decision-making and diagnostic skills in a realistic, risk-free environment. By working through these scenarios, learners can improve their clinical judgment and become more confident in their decisions.
We’ve also made some important improvements to the platform, such as refined filters, an updated user dashboard, and a more prominent webinar calendar. These changes make it even easier for you to find exactly what you need, whether it’s a course, module, or upcoming event. Plus, we’ve introduced Certificates of Completion for Interactive Cases, Interactive Modules, and Guidelines, so you can track your progress and show off your accomplishments.
On top of all that, we’ve had some fantastic collaborations this year with several partner organisations adding even more valuable content to the platform and of course the 2024 Webinar series in cooperation with European Journal of Neurology 30th anniversary. We’re also proud to have won the 2024 e-Learning Award for gamification from the e-Learning Journal this year, which recognizes our creative and engaging approach to online learning.
Looking ahead to 2025, together with the EAN Board, we decided to make much of our content available to EAN Associate Members, which will make eanCampus even more accessible to a wider audience. With all these updates and new features, eanCampus is becoming an essential resource for neurologists everywhere, providing rich and interactive learning opportunities.
If you haven’t yet explored eanCampus, now is the perfect time! With all the new content, interactive features, and expert-led sessions, the platform offers a great way to keep growing in your neurology education.
