The EAN Guideline Production Group invites EAN Scientific Panel members, individual members, and Guideline Task Force members to join the EAN Guideline Workshop on Friday, 28 June at 12:00 – 17:30 EEST, onsite in Helsinki.
Clinical practice guidelines are a crucial tool for the neurological community, and their development is something the EAN considers one of its most important functions. Facilitated by seasoned EAN guideline developers, this workshop encompasses the guideline development process from start to finish, following one of the EAN’s high quality guidelines. At this event, we aim to not only share skills and know-how, but also discuss the challenges and difficulties in guideline production.
The workshop is a compact but comprehensive walkthrough of the guideline development process, covering the following topics:
- Construction of PICOs
- Construction of evidence profiles
- Summary of findings
- Evidence to Decision Process
- Development of the Recommendation
