As a discipline, general neurology (GN) has seen a decline in attractiveness and overall numbers. This led to the creation of the EAN Taskforce on General Neurology, to put GN back on the proverbial neurological map.
The ensuing discussions on the various issues culminated in a white paper on GN. The white paper puts forth ideas on the definition of GN, the current situation on general practice, training, research, and on the promotion of GN in the future.
To see if the ideas formulated in the white paper match reality and to better understand how much training has been dedicated to GN in the past, how neurologists perceive themselves today, and what the expectations for GN are in the future, the GN Taskforce invites you to participate in a very short survey, the results of which will be included in the white paper.
Survey participants will have a chance to win a full bursary (registration and accommodation) or free registration for the 10th Annual Congress of the European Academy of Neurology*, in Helsinki, on 29 June – 2 July, 2024. The survey will be open until 16 July, 2023.
