The BSSSE is primarily addressed to medical postgraduates / junior researchers (age up to about 40) with a special clinical/scientific interest in epilepsy. It is clinically oriented and focused on the comprehensive aspects of diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, in addition encouraging research interests. The interactive course format involves combinations of lectures and group work, with tutorized case-oriented studies in an informal, international and open atmosphere . Participants are requested to bring own cases and encouraged to present own research for peer discussion, and will also work on designing a research project. Applicants from the Baltic Sea region are given priority but participants from all parts of the world are accepted. A substantial number of bursaries will be available. Deadline for applications is March 1st, 2019, priority deadline for applicants from the Baltic Sea region is February 1st, 2019.
