In August we uploaded a new webinar to ebrain, a round table discussion, by experts, Professors Werner Poewe, Angelo Antonini and Oliver Rascol on “Is Delaying Levodopa a Disservice to Patients?” The discussion centres around how to recognize when levodopa could and should be initiated; how to potentially prevent levodopa-associated side effects; how to assess the mechanism underlying levodopa-related motor complications; and whether or not an early initiation of levodopa can be useful and influence the course of Parkinson’s disease.
