We are delighted to invite you to the Regional Teaching Session (RTS) in Ayia Napa, Cyprus on 16 May 2025, where leading experts will present key topics in motor neuron disease (MND) and neurogenetics.
The session will feature:
- Advances in ALS Treatment – Prof. Albert C. Ludolph (Germany) will discuss the latest breakthroughs in ALS therapy, including emerging treatment strategies and clinical trial developments.
- Introduction to Neurogenetics & MND – Dr Georgios Koutsis (Greece) will provide an approach to patients with suspected MND, highlighting genetic testing, hereditary patterns, and implications for patient care.
- EMG Approach in Motor Neuronopathies – Prof. Mamede de Carvalho (Portugal) will explore the role of electromyography in diagnosing motor neuron disorders, emphasising its importance in distinguishing between different neuromuscular conditions.
These sessions will include interactive discussions and expert insights, offering a great opportunity for learning and networking. Additionally, the National Neurological Conference will be free to attend for all participants.
