The European Brain Council has been selected to lead the DG Sante Thematic Network, titled “Towards an EU Coordination Plan for the Brain,” under the EU Health Policy Platform. The Thematic Network’s primary aim is to prepare a position paper, referred to as the Joint Statement. This document will present the collective vision and strategic recommendations for enhancing brain health policies and practices across Europe.
To facilitate the development of the Joint Statement, an open live webinar will take place on 5th of September from 15:00 until 17:00 (Brussels time). This webinar will serve as a platform for discussing ideas, sharing insights, and fostering collaboration among participants before the final drafting of the Joint Statement. The second draft of the position paper will be shared in October and discussed in a second webinar. The finalized Joint Statement will then be presented by the European Brain Council at the EU Health Policy Platform Annual Meeting.
Participation in the webinars is open to everyone. This inclusive approach ensures that the diverse perspectives and expertise of the brain health community are represented in the Joint Statement, contributing to a coordinated and effective EU strategy for brain health.
