The EAN is a member of the European Pain Forum, an initiative of the European Pain Federation (EFIC) to bring together all scientific societies relevant to pain science and pain management.
EFIC is working on the development of a Pain Research Strategy, which will form a pillar in European pain research plans for years to come. The overarching vision is to optimise understanding and management of pain through the promotion of high-quality, collaborative basic, pre-clinical, translational, and clinical research.
The current phase of the strategy development involves a survey to be completed by researchers involved in pain science, asking them to comment on priorities established initially by a multidisciplinary steering committee. You can find the survey HERE.
- The survey takes approximately 45 minutes to complete in full, but you can skip questions on priorities that are not relevant to your interests or fields of expertise.
- As a reward for participation, EFIC will pick 1 survey participant from a blind draw who will receive a complimentary year of EFIC Academy membership, providing access to all of our online learning materials for a year.
- The deadline to complete the survey is 10 December 2022.
