COVID-19 AND NEUROLOGY
During the COVID-19 outbreak, frontline healthcare workers were mandated to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while caring for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients, which involved the donning of face masks, protective eyewear, gowns, surgical gloves and the use of powered air-purifying respirators. In this cross-sectional study, the authors try to determine the risk factors associated with the development of de novo PPE-associated headaches in healthcare workers, the perceived impact of these headaches on their personal health and work performance and the impact of COVID-19 on pre-existing headache disorders.
