Prof. Claudio Bassetti, President of the EAN and Prof. Mohamed Al-Shehab, President of the PAUNS are pleased to announce that:
EAN signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PAUNS – Pan Arab Union of Neurological Societies joining forces to promote optimal cooperation between both societies.
PAUNS is the leading association representing neurology in all Arab countries present in The Arab League. Its activities address the interests of neurologists in academia, research and practice throughout all stages of career development.
This collaboration aims to enhance education and scientific endeavours to the importance of neurological care beyond Europe’s borders. Jointly, the two organizations will be able to work towards the recognition of the importance and need for brain health and for strengthening research.
The two societies have agreed to collaborate on the following specific activities to deliver this goal:
Scientific Conferences: joint sessions will be organised both at the EAN and PAUNS congresses.
Optimizing Education: educational activities related to a common topic will be organized.
