Breaking News: Surprising results of MOG-antibodies in pediatric demyelinating and encephalitic syndromes

Screening of myelin-oligodendrocyte-glycoprotein (MOG) antibodies in a large prospective pediatric cohort  with demyelinating syndromes or other encephalitis showed surprisingly high rate of positive results. The study showed implications on diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.(1)
