With “involvement” as one of its five core values, EAN strives to encourage and strengthen the collaboration not only between the national societies and individual members but also among the related professional organisations, national and international, neurological associations and related international health organisations.
One of the forms of cooperation is promotion exchange. In the past years, EAN has step-by-step established cooperation with more than 60 different organisations – scientific societies, non-profit organisations, foundations, publishers, etc. This comes in a form of exchange, with various promotional opportunities being offered at the congress in return for partners promoting the congress to their communities, and is based on an official agreement. The main goal is to promote the annual congress and therefore we exchange website banners, adverts, and offer a possibility of having a booth at the EAN congress.
Promotion cooperation with partner societies provides benefits to both sides– a win-win situation is EAN’s priority.
In 2020, for the 6th EAN Congress in Paris, 23-26 May 2020, several changes will be introduced:
There will be an NPO village, EAN Neurohood, a new area created by EAN to give its
partner organisations a platform where they can present themselves in a better way.
There will no longer be shell scheme booths but a nice, inviting space with one backwall designed by the organisation itself and separated from the others (facing backwards to each other) by high flowerpots.
The Information Wall is an alternative to our longstanding offer of having your advert included in the EAN congress final programme. The EAN Board decided against having the printed final programme and instead the congress app and website will be used.
Furthermore, we offer another new feature. For those who cannot provide staff, unstaffed booths will also be available. This will look the same as the staffed booth, however there will be a journal rack instead of a counter.
The Literature Table will be situated within the EANNeurohood and serve as a display and
