Home of Neurology – our ambition is to be ‘the home of neurology’ for Europe. This vision is reflected in the structure and content of our website, and all that we do. We will strive to live up to the needs and expectations of our members and to promote, develop and implement neurology across Europe.
Research Fellowship – the purpose of a Research Fellowship is to support training and experience for European Neurologists in any area of basic or clinical or applied research in neuroscience. The research work is carried out at a European academic neurological department outside the country of residence and is typically of 12 months duration. A Research Fellowships’ goal is to lead either to completion of a higher degree, a grant application or peer-reviewed publication.

Scientific Panels – did you know? EAN has 31 scientific panels on various neurologic topics. You can find them here. – if you are an EAN individual member, you can become a panel member and therefore part of European neurology in the making. Scientific Panels co-ordinate clinical research at a European level and disseminate good neurological practice throughout European countries. They are responsible for proposing the congress topics, which are evaluated and selected by the Programme Committee. Last but not least, Scientific panels are producing guidelines according to the latest scientific and evidence levels. Currently, we have 17 guidelines in the making and we will keep you posted as they are progressing!
Tournament for neurologists in training – the Tournament for neurologists in training is split in two categories – clinical and basic. The winner of each group will receive a prize consisting of: Free registration at the 6th EAN Congress in Paris 2020, up to four nights hotel accommodation as well as a travel grant and a certificate. Eligible are EAN Resident and Research Members. Please indicate your tournament application during abstract submission.

Abstract Submission for the Oslo congress is now open! Do you have research that you would like to submit to our congress? Right this way! Spring School – dedicated to clinical neurologists in training who did not yet complete their residency/clinical specialty training who wish to boost their knowledge and to get the chance to enable personal contacts among participants and faculty members. Contributions to the optimal organisation of neurological care, neurological services and postgraduate education throughout Europe will be presented. The deadline for Spring School application is January, 31st – don’t miss out!
