EANpages is the electronic news tool of EAN reporting on what happens in the neurological and allied-disciplines field, in the EAN community, and providing informed opinions on different scientific and healthcare related topics in neurology.
The EANpages Editor-in-Chief is expected to be a vital part of EAN’s online presence by overseeing and contributing to the content of the news blog. The main role of the Editor is to select, edit and approve all EANpages content. Moreover, the Editor plays a pivotal role in driving the substance of EANpages and creating content, by i.e. interviewing important stakeholders, on the other.
The candidate should be familiar with the EAN structures, objectives, and its procedures. He/she and will co-chair the e-Communication Board (insert LINK) together with the Website Editor-in-Chief, Pr. Tim J von Oertzen. A certain affinity for technology and the latest developments in the digital world as well as keeping an open mind to and implementing innovative ideas is also expected from the candidate.
Monthly teleconferences are expected with the e-Communication Board in addiction with two in-person meetings per year in Vienna. Approximately 15 hours per month are estimated for all duties to be carried out.
The EAN would like to invite academically active European neurologists to apply for this position. The EAN Board will make the final decision based on qualification for this position.
