EXCEMED Practice teaching course In-depth MRI techniques and analysis in multiple sclerosis
September 27th – 28th 2018, Milan, Italy
Today the role of MRI in multiple sclerosis is well established. It is undeniable that MRI is required for establishing the diagnosis, evaluating prognosis and monitoring treatment complications. Although competence and knowledge of qualitative neuroradiological metrics are increasingly growing among neurologists interested in MS, there is still a need to promote a deeper understanding of the applications, limits and possibilities of this tool to improve the quality of the care. The aim of this learner-centred programme is to increase knowledge and competence in the field of neuroimaging applied to MS. This programme will address the most recent updates in quantitative and qualitative MRI techniques and in advanced neuroimaging. A multistep approach will be used, encompassing web-based and live activities. All activities – in-person and online – will involve the full interactivity of learners.
