Dear EAN member,
The European Academy of Neurology congress is the largest European congress on Neurology gathering more than 5500 participants from all over Europe and the rest of the world each year!
Neurologists and other specialists have the chance to meet and discuss ongoing research projects and to develop international collaborations. Residents and Fellows have the chance to attend educational courses and lectures from senior researchers and clinicians, which is very important for their continuing medical education. The high quality of the congress is reflected in the evaluation scores that each year the participants complete.
The Quality Assurance sub-Committee each year works to ensure that the high quality standards are met. Our aim is to enrich the congress each year with training courses that the participants feel that are necessary, but also with high quality lectures on topics of interest.
Frequently, excellent speakers are coming from overseas or have not given lectures at the European Academy of Neurology congress yet. An excellent speaker is not necessarily someone who is involved in research and has numerous publications, or someone who is a well-known academic.
We call members of the European Academy of Neurology to suggest presenters who, from their experience, give excellent talks. Your experience from attending national or other international conferences is, therefore, valuable.
Please send us your suggestion(s) to headoffice@ean.org providing information about the topic of the lecture you have attended and you felt that would fit nicely in the European Academy of Neurology. Kindly send this along with a short description of why you propose this/these particular presenter(s).
We look forward to your suggestions!
