Dear EAN members, dear readers,
as EANpages Editor, it is my privilege to send you a few lines at the end of this 2016, which has been a very important and special year for EANpages.
Together with the launch of the new EAN website in April, the former Neuropenews has changed looks and rejuvenated itself to become the current EANpages. This important change has allowed us to introduce several new features, and make this EAN blog more useful, versatile, and attractive to the EAN members. Just one example: the new area “Country of the Month” is allowing EAN members to share, learn, and discover news about our wonderful European colleagues. We thank those societies very much who have enthusiastically participated to this initiative so far.
These EANpages’ achievements have been possible because many EAN members have generously helped (with the President’s Pages, the Paper of the Month, the News from the EAN Committees, the Scientific Panels, etcetera), including our outstanding EANpages Editorial staff (Prof. Tim von Oertzen, Drs. Antonella Macerollo, José Enrique Martinez Rodriguez, Anna Sauerbier and Tom Jenkins, as well as Ms Anja Sander, Eveline Sipido, Julia Mayer and Malin Inzinger from the Head Office).
EANpages will see more developments and achievements in 2017. But to further improve EANpages I encourage all readers to share with us news and comments: EANpages is your home space!
