Last month we were contacted and asked, why certain top cited articles on neurological sub-specialties were not listed, why our selected articles were published mainly on a couple of journals, and how the articles on our top 10 list were selected.
Our monthly Top 10 classification is based on the number of quotations received by articles that we select through the key words “neurology” and “clinical neurology”.
Therefore it is quite possible that articles with different key words are not recognised by our system.
IF and when some of our readers will kindly indicate us some articles with a high number of quotations, but not recognised by our approach, possibly belonging to neurological sub-specialties, we will gladly utilise the “Forum” of our newsblog to create a “corner” for such articles and its sub-specialty.
