Katalin Réka Czuriga-Kovács from Hungary was selected for her project: Correlation between the severity of carotid stenosis, plaque characteristics and microemboli detection in patients undergoing endarterectomy which she will carry out at the National Hospital Queen’s Square, UCL Institute of Neurology, London, UK chaired by Professor Martin Brown
Maria Kovalchuk from Russia was selected for her project: Disease mechanisms in multifocal motor neuropathy which she will carry out at the University Medical Center Utrecht, Department of Neurology, The Netherlands chaired by Professor Gabriel Rinkel
Matthias Mulazzani from Austria was selected for his project: In vivo two-photon microscopy of CNS malignancies which he will carry out at the Neurological clinic, Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany chaired by Professor Marianne Dieterich
Cristina Muntean from Romania was selected for her project: Prospective study of correlations between clinical, electrophysiological, immunochemical features and response to therapy in patients with sub-types of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) which she will carry out at the National Referral Center for Rare Neuromuscular Diseases, University Hospital Pitié-Salpêtrière, Paris, France chaired by Professor Jean-Marc Léger
Timo Siepmann from Germany was selected for his project: Preeclampsia Vascular Studies (Neuronal Factors Substudy) which he will carry out at the University of Oxford, John Radcliffe Hospital, Cardiovascular research facility, UK, chaired by Professor Paul Leeson

Joana Domingos from Portugal was selected for her project: Antibody-mediated neurological diseases: clinical and laboratorial training in peripheral and central nervous system disorders which she will carry out at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK chaired by Professor Christopher Kennard
Anita Frendl from Hungary was selected for her project: Validity of diagnosis of dizziness and vertigo syndromes which she will carry out at the University clinic Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck, Germany chaired by Professor Christoph Helmchen.
Isabel Moreira from Portugal was selected for her project: Neuro-infectious diseases which she will carry out at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust, London, UK chaired by Professor Gavin Giovannoni.
