The European Academy of Neurology (EAN) will be founded during the first Joint Meeting of the ENS and EFNS in Istanbul in June 2014.
The ENS elected the 45 individual members for the new European Academy of Neurology (EAN) General Assembly.
Interested ENS members submitted their application by uploading their CV on an electronic dedicated site, until the end of February 2013. Voting was also electronic.
The elected individual members had a meeting during the 23rd ENS conference in Barcelona, in June 2013. Several members expressed their enthusiasm on serving the new society, hoping that EAN opens a new space for education, science and improved patient care in the field of Neurology.
